I don’t have time for an unplanned visit home to help out in my father’s struggling letterpress shop. My stint in Vermont will have to be short, for a couple of reasons:

One, I’m a busy executive trying to climb the corporate ladder.

Two, my ex is still my dad’s right-hand man in the shop. And I am not over him.

Nothing has changed at the Burlington shop. Auden still has his infuriatingly sexy Scottish accent. He’s still hot, and still stubborn. Between operating the antique press with his shirtsleeves rolled up, and moonlighting at Burlington’s hottest inclusive wine bar, he pushes every one of my attraction buttons.

My falling-in-love-again buttons, too. Except I’m his polar opposite. I love change, and taking chances. Everything he avoids in life.

So why am I trying to convince him to reach for more than we’ve ever dreamed of—the possibility of forever?

Turnabout is a second-chance romance with interfering family, groveling, and a large helping of artisan stationery geekery.

Turnabout by Laurel Greer is a fabulous second chance romance! This one opens with Carter being called home to help with the small family’s business the one where the only other employee is Carter’s ex-boyfriend, Auden.

I adore the love the craft, and the artist’s point of view in this one… I also really think so much of what these to eventually build is about what is the new path which is weaving beautiful artists touches with a new disruption plan.

Carter’s Aunt was so much fun and really added to this story as did his parents and sister.. and the use of Auden’s mom helps to understand him (some)

Carter and Auden craft (yes pun intended) a path for themselves one so very perfect for each other; yes they fall into the old comfort of each other but these men now listen and observe each other and well… listen to each other

Auden and Carter are meant to be together now….. the personal growth and experience that each has had since being together have made them both understand and appreciate what they have is special; the time also gave each man time to well smooth at their edges and fully embrace that life is about finding the middle ground.

Oh and Shh… just wait to Auden who is Scottish pulls out the kilt 😉

Turnabout is set in the Vino and Veritas world and I have loved so many of these stories!

Click on each to read my review of Featherbed, Heartscape, Heartstrong, Unguarded, and Daybreak.

My only real “issue” with this series as an epilogue lover… it is a bit frustrating to have to click a link and “signup” to get the extended epilogue for these stories… again this might be just me… because I am such a HUGE fan of the seeing the forever happy and so many of these authors are delivering that in space with the end delivered via email after. But having said that make to go through the steps and download it because this extended epilogue was EPIC!
