I’m Jake Masterson, single dad, and the General Manager of Seattle’s NHL team. I walked away from a career as a player so I could raise my daughter. For the last twenty-plus years, Queenie has been my main priority, but now she’s getting married.

And there’s a small complication.

A beautiful, sexy complication named Hanna.

She’s my son-in-law’s older sister. Or at least that’s how they were raised. The truth is a little more scandalous than that.

I’ve been drawn to her from the moment I laid eyes on her. And I spent months trying to keep a lid on that attraction.

Until we finally give in.

It starts with one searing kiss, but quickly ends with us between the sheets—and in the shower, and the hot tub, you get the picture—and turns into months of sneaking around.

Here’s the problem: we live on opposite ends of the country. It can’t be anything but casual. And as I’ve already said…it’s complicated.

But when Hanna finds out she’s pregnant…suddenly things get real serious.

A Kiss for a Kiss by Helena Hunting was an amazing LOVE story…. untraditional and yet again proof that Helene Hunting is a master at her craft!

Jake and Hanna are both in their 40’s facing a situation neither EVER dreamed of! Everything I am about to share is in the blurb…

Jake was a single Dad, given up his career to raise his now adult daughter Queenie. Queen found her soulmate in A Secret for A Secret and this joining of families puts Hanna in Jake’s orbit!

Orbit is such a great work as Hunting makes the pull these two feel crystal clear to the reader; you can feel it deep in your bones. This connection will have you instantly rooting for a way for this work….

When Hanna finds out she is pregnant (yes in the blurb too) this books turns it up a notch in so many ways; relationships get more complicated; the hurt both Hanna and Jake carry from their pasts and yes the heat all turn up.

I do not want to share “the how” Jake and Hanna whose families weave together and who when the book opens each have career states apart but I will say the way they come together, the happy they craft helps fill a void neither even knew they had!

The use of the secondary characters toward this ending was outstanding, Hanna’s best friend Paxton was a wonderful character and well Queenie and her name make this complete!

I highly recommend the All In series…it makes for an amazing summer BINGE READ!

And then… then PLEASE, Please… please read Little Lies by H Hunting, this is an all-time favorite for mine!
